Thread on the stupidity of Premier League fans:
First of all, most of them have never watched a single match of football outside their own league, all they do is look at stats and make their judgements from there. The most recent example is Werner.
Us Bundesliga fans knew he wasn't as good as his stats suggested. He just happened to play in a system built for him where he got a ton of chances every single game. We knew he wasn't going to succeed in England.
What pl fans forget to mention is that there are a lot of players from the Bundesliga and other leagues that have ripped apart the pl. Salah, son, De Bruyne. Heck, Pulisic never performed as well in the Bundesliga as he did in the pl.
Now pl fans twist even this and say those players developed. No shit sherlock, but tell me why if the same thing happens to a player who performs in other leagues that league is then called a farmers league. There are flops in every league as well as world class players.
Yes, there is more space for players in the Bundesliga, that adds to the excitement. But even then, the defences in England aren't much better. If you are a world class player, you'll perform in every league.
Saying it's easy to statpad goals and assists in the Bundesliga is just pure delusion. Some teams play systems that benefit certain players (Werner) and yet that isn't the case for almost every single team in the league.
Its better to comment on something you know about instead of making assumptions on out of context stats. And I must say, with so many pl fans hyping Leon Bailey, don't call the Bundesliga crap when he flops because he got all his goals and assists against the bottom sides.
