sacrosanct plants and it is alerady mentioned in the 4th Veda that it relieves anxiety and being a sacred plant can be used as medicinal purpose.

Existence. To avoid that Lord Shiva consumed whole of that p@ison and later to cool him down devas offered him Cannabis.
