The dark secret behind the “Greece-Bosnia and Herzegovina friendship building” (THREAD)
Executive Council building in Sarajevo was destroyed by Serb mercenaries in 1992. It was rebuilt by a Greek company and paid for by the Greek government in 2006. But why?
Greek mercenaries, the Greek Voluntary Guard, put themselves at Karadzic’s and Mladic’s disposal in Bosnia. There were about 200 Greek volunteers. Here they are with Karadzic and Momcilo Krajisnik in Pale in 1994.
20 of these mercenaries participated in the Srebrenica genocide in 1995. They received the blessing of the Serb Orthodox Church whose leaders Pavle, Amfilohije and Atanasije are pictured with the GVG in Vlasenica, 1995.
Here are the mercenaries after the fall of Srebrenica, inside the city. One of them is far-right Golden Dawn’s second man.
This is “Antonis”, their commander. He was close to Ratko Mladic and his whereabouts (as well as his real identity) are unknown today.
Greece was the only NATO member which openly supported Slobodan Milosevic and the Bosnian Serbs. It offered to repair the building in return for sweeping the Greek volunteers’ participation in the genocide under the rug.
This is the HQ of Golden Dawn today. It features photos of Arkan and radical Serbian symbolism, as well as photos of the volunteers in Bosnia.
And if that wasn't enough, here is a message that Greek youth sent to Bosnian football players in 2016: the Serbian chant "knife, wire, Srebrenica".
