I "understood" the finale and still thought it was hot garbage. Tired of the take that we didn't "get it".
No, there was nothing to not get, the finale was overly simplistic.
Yall didn't get how they completely erased characters, relationships, and development, AND found family https://twitter.com/MOLReports/status/1337147895011688450

Did I like the finale? No. But I should be able to dislike the finale and it be valid without being told I don't fucking get it. Trust me, I get it. It still sucks. And I have the right to that opinion.
If you think it was a wonderful hour of tv, great! I am GENUINELY glad, bc I

wouldn't wish the feeling of being dissatisfied with the end to your favorite show of all time- the one that saved your LIFE- on anyone.
I've felt like shit for months. It won't sit with me bc it didn't FEEL RIGHT. so no, I won't accept it. I won't like it. I won't lie and say

it was good. Yall can sing its praises all day long and I am happy for you. but I will not like it, won't ever grow to like it, and you don't get to tell me that it's bc I didn't "get it". It's insulting and I think yall know that.
and god, you don't think i've been SEARCHING for redemption in that finale? bc I HAVE. I've tried to come up with every single position I could, and it still feels like probably one of the worst endings our boys could've been given. they deserved better and so did we
Oh, and I sang PRAISES about Jensen's acting in that ep, and still gave the episode itself a one star rating. bc it DESERVED it, imo, bc I disliked the entire episode. And yes, you CAN, in fact, enjoy a performance and dislike the product. (i.e. Dan Levy, happiest season)
