Just had a cute moment with my Bro

MINI THREAD TIME (XMAS EDITION)

So we agreed to meet up at a service station in the middle of our homes to exchange Xmas presents

It felt like a dodgy drug deal

So we decided to pretend that it was

I arrived first and he pulled up at the opposite of the car park and we flashed our headlights....like way too many times

We get out our cars and walk towards each other

About 5 metres apart I say “That’s far enough. Were you followed?”

“No” bro replies “Did you come alone?”

“Yeh you know I’m single” I replied (he winced at that joke) “You bring it”

My bro went back to his car & got a bag of presents

“Just put it in the middle & step back”

There we are in a car park the bag of presents in the middle

I kneel down and inspect the contents of the bag

“It’s all there” bro says

I hold up a card with my name on it

“What’s this?”

“A little sweetener for you “

“Gift card?”

“Top Shop?”

“No it’s legit. Now do you have something for me?”

I get my phone out and say “Bring it out” before waiting unnecessarily for minutes until my Bro reminds me I have to actually go and get the bags

So moaning all the way there and back I go get multiple bags of presents placing them in the middle

My bro takes a look

“Batteries?” he asks

“That wasn’t part of the deal” I reply

“The Boss won’t be happy”

“Word on the street the Boss is none to happy with you following the Barbie Dream House Incident”

“Well this looks in order. Give my regards to Big D”

And that was it. It was a nice moment. I guess you had to be there

He said ‘Merry Christmas Sis. Look after Dad’

And I replied ‘What the fuck you think I’ve been doing’

And with that the moment was over
