We must refuse to rejoice in someone getting what we think they deserve.
For instance, if a church has refused to take precautions and are experiencing an outbreak of COVID-19, the Christian response isn’t to mock, but to pray for healing.

I chose my words carefully: “rejoice”
and “mock.” I neither said not implied that we could not criticize, if our hearts are right in doing so.
