3 reasons why you should tell stories in every email to get ahead of 95% of the competition

//thread//
1) We remember them like yesterday

Why do we remember Disney movies instead of a textbook article in school? Because it’s a story.

And because it’s more fun.

However, the same goes with your email.
You want to tell a story in every email you send out, whether you’re a business or a freelancer.

You can use stories from history, your personal ones or how you helped a client. It doesn’t need to be 69 pages long, nobody will ever read that.

Concrete.
2) Personal like a friend

How many businesses do you see send out an email with a story in it? Absolutely nobody (nearly).

But, imagine the advantage you would get by telling a personal story to your customers from an email, that’s huge.
The reader would have thought that you sent it wrong. But most importantly, it makes you stand out.

It makes you personal. It makes you special to the person reading it, because you’re not as everyone else.
Now imagine the curiosity the reader gets when they see your email the next time in their inbox. Om my gosh..
3) Selling with stories

You don’t want to be a nobody with just telling a story in every email for nothing, you want to sell with them.

You want to tie the story with a product/service you offer.
Imagine if you read an email from a brand who helped a customer increase their income by $1000/month. They described all the negative feelings the customer had before and how it got solved.
Now the reader feels the same feelings as described and is eager to get the same outcome as the other customer

The reader will do everything to get this solved, and when you tie the product/service in the email with the story, your customers will drool on it.
Thank you for reading this, I know you got some value from this and that you will implement this in your own emails. Giving the first tweet a RT would be very much appreciated.
