Finally got through to the even-tempered William at @Halo_Screening, my first contact with the company (was it the company? Trust completely shot here) about the abject failure of Halo to supply a #TestToRelease kit and complete ghosting by phone, email, and webchat for a week 1/
He assured me repeatedly that I would get a refund of my ÂŁ89 but that there was a backlog. No, really?

I told him about all the folks on here desperately disappointed with his company's inability to respond to contact, with what feels like bad faith in using an answering service (poor Shaniqa, the supervisor at the answering service, she sounded a bit fed up) #TestToRelease 3/
We had a bitter little laugh about how much interest @Halo_Screening must be accruing on all the money that it has fleeced from people just trying to do the right thing with quarantining and keeping others safe #TestToRelease 4/
A refund would be nice, and a legal minimum, but William seemed surprised when I suggested that @Halo_Screening should have a pinned tweet somewhere, or an announcement on their website, and should respond to emails from frustrated and disappointed customers #TestToRelease 5/
He also didn't know that the telephone number on the http://gov.uk website changed this morning, no longer 0203 991 9743, but a 0330 number that diverts the call. Anyone wanting to speak to Halo, ring the 0203 number here... @Halo_Screening #TestToRelease 6/
So now I've dealt with @Halo_Screening, next up @CityDocCovid who took my money fraudulently, saying on their website that they were a government-approved #TestToRelease provider when they weren't. They are equally evasive, but at least I have better docs to fight the scam.7/
So yo @grantshapps (Honourable. Right?) @MattHancock and all y'all at @10DowningStreet. #TestToRelease may be way down your list of priorities but it's just another reason you will be despised forever. You've added even more stress to our 2020 lives, and we won't forget. /8
