Subscription boxes - there is everything from tea to cheese to art materials to new fiction novels - I particularly like @booksthatmatter and @ShelterboxBooks
Signal boost work they are doing - share their latest publication, tweet / email / talk about their projects and research, spread the word about the organisations they work or volunteer for. Take time to connect your friends and acquaintances if their work or ethos aligns!
Above all, reach out. Ask if they are coping. Ask if they want to join you on a festive walk (via Zoom!) Send them recipe ideas. Have a film or TV watching party. Read each other bedtime stories. Swap folklore.
