being a very vocal sex-positive parent means that I've been asked a few times to help deliver the sex ed classes at our Primary School. On one such occasion, I was invited in to talk about pregnancy and childbirth with 6-year-olds, I was heavily pregnant at the time.
The Principal had warned me that there were some very intelligent, knowledgable, and inquisitive children in the class and that if I was asked an awkward question that I should respond with, "You should ask your Mammy or daddy that question when you get home."
So I'm talking about pregnancy and at the end of my talk the Principal opens it up for questions and the kids' are asking me about my tummy and usually 6 year old stuff. Then this boy puts his hand up. "How did it feel having your partner's penis inside your vagina?" he asks.
I looked at the sea of wide-eyed 6-year-old faces staring expectantly at me, stuttered a bit then remembered the form response the principal had given me and clutched it like a life line.
"You should ask your Mamm-" I said before the Principal swiftly & rightly cut me off to steer the subject elsewhere. I had to have a lie down after that, can't believe I nearly told a whole class of 6year olds to ask their Mam what it felt like having dad's penis inside them

The kid who asked me this has a Twitter Mum who follows me but I won't out her or her brilliantly intelligent child
