Justice Geoffrey Venning is clearly a misogynist:
“Your mother rejected you; that may go some way towards explaining your attitude towards women,” said Justice Geoffrey Venning

At his sentencing last month for rape committed in 2018, Justice Venning said it was clear Kempson did not accept his offending and told him: “You have no remorse or insight into it.”
< Says the judge who’s just handed him a mother-blaming excuse.

And then this from @guardian

“Kempson, who was estranged from his mother, became obsessed with online dating in his early 20s.”

Nicely reinforcing - not challenging - the mother-blaming of this serial perpetrator of violence against women.

Note: no mention of his father.
