I’m just gonna give my opinion on this and what I think of it. I think there’s a possibility that it could be real, but really think about it. This is 4chan we’re talking about. I’m not saying it’s impossible for it to happen. There have been leaks on 4chan that have ended up real. But for the most part, 4chan isn’t really a reliable place. I’m surprised that it got right Min-Min, Steve, and Sephiroth.
If it does end up being real, I’ll be surprised, but also a bit disappointed. I think Rayman is cool, as well as Doomguy. But the both of them getting in before Crash? I don’t know.
Not to crush anyone’s hopes and dreams, but back in January, there was an interview with the DOOM Director who says they asked Nintendo about putting Doom Slayer into Smash.

Another thing to keep in mind is that discussions for Steve joining Smash started around 2014. If the DOOM Director is saying that they have asked about Doom Slayer joining back in January while Steve was in the talks since 2014, I don’t think he would be playable.
Again, this is just my opinion on it. If it does end up being true, I’ll gladly take the L. But if it doesn’t, then it’ll show to not fully trust 4chan as a place for credible leaks.
