I see people calling random Jews on social media (tiktok especially) colonizers, I’m terrified at the prospect that this will turn into the real-life targeting of Jews in some future mass crime.
Most of these seem to be coming from gen-z who seem to revel in harassing random Jews on social media, calling them colonizers, calling them evil. A Jew simply talking about Judaism will be met with countless comments of free Palestine and 
.
.
If this is a representative of the younger generation, the prospect of them holding on to these misconceptions and total lack of understanding or nuance is terrifying. What’s even more worrisome is the amount of Jews that give them fodder by confirming their idiocy.
Jews who have no problem throwing 7 million of their brothers and sisters under the bus only says to them “see a Jew agrees with me, you must be wrong”.
If you can’t see this frightening pattern, I don’t know what rose-colored glasses you have on. The Holocaust wasn’t the first crime to be perpetrated against us, and unfortunately, it probably won’t be the last.
Notice the behaviors taking root in our society, where it’s slowly becoming normal to harass random Jews, call them colonizers, call them occupiers, even ones that have nothing to do with Israel.
