Today I voted in support of a COVID Emergency Relief Package.
It is not sufficient, but it is a step forward, and House Democrats will continue to fight to get Americans much needed relief.

$600 direct payments to individuals making up to $75,000

$1,200 for couples making up to $150,000

Plus $600 per child.
Also added a provision for mixed-status families ensuring immigrant families get access to this crucial relief.

$300 per week in additional unemployment insurance.

Continued unemployment assistance to self-employed, freelancers, gig workers, part-time workers, and other non-traditional employment.

Extended unemployment benefits when state benefits expire.

Permanent end to surprise medical billing

3 year extension of Community Health Center funding

Expands access to rural health care

Additional PPP forgivable loans for small businesses

$25 Billion in rental assistance

Extension of eviction moratorium until January 31, 2021

New Low-Income Water Utility Bill Assistance

15% increase to SNAP benefits

$3.2 Billion for low-income families to get access to broadband internet

$300 Million to fund broadband in rural areas

$69 Billion for vaccines, testing, and tracing
+ Additional funds for industries hurt by this pandemic like transportation, tourism, and child care.
