Why Eren is the father?

Usually, in shows, movies, etc. Something that is shown to us makes it important. In chapter 134 in SNK, when the rumbling starts (which EREN is doing) we see Historia in labor. Now, WHY, if Eren was not the father would we see that?

If there is no significance to that baby, why are we being shown the labor?

Example: Jon Snow. When Lyanna has given birth and is dying, there's a scene directly after that has Jon Snows face. To tell the audience that yes, this is Lyanna Starks son.

Also, I think it's very telling that we get a closeup of Historias face, she knew what was going on with the rumbling and Eren.

I feel like this is kinda a roundabout conversation. You can take it many ways. But it also leaves questions.

• Have they been intimate with each other before?

• Do they love each other?

• Are they just going with the flow to save the other?

• What "reliable way" is Historia talking about?

And that last question is asked because after he says, "They want to keep forcing

parent and child to eat one another." She looks absolutely horrified. Then, her eyes seem to go distant, while sweat pools down her face (which you can see) and she says, "I won't let them." Let who? The council? The child? Who is them in that statement? Why is she panicking so

much? Then! Eren says, "If it's too much for you to endure, I'll manipulate your memories with the founding titans power." Now that is also open ended and leaves questions..

• Does Eren know something?

• Is he talking about a child she might have with someone else?

Now here, I feel like he's going back and forth between Historia and Mikasa. And his feelings for both his ladies. And I think the best way to really delve into it is to look at his father. And honestly, they're very similar. Grisha married Dina, had Zeke, who has royal blood.

Kinda like Historia. Who's the Queen. Then Dina died, and Grisha remarried Karla. HOWEVER, he didn't go out of his way to court her, he actually saved her and her parents from a sickness. Kinda like how Eren saved Mikasa. Then married her, after being shocked that she hugged him,

and they had Eren. Anywho, we get to the second to last panel here, and we see a panned out shot of Historia and Eren. And she says:

"Well. Eren."

And during this Zeke is babbling about Mikasas feelings towards Eren. Why? Why is he thinking about the feelings Mikasa might have

for him while thinking about Historia being pregnant?

"What would you think.. about me having a child?"

And that.. we NEVER see Erens answer for that. We never see him tell her hell no she's the Queen, no she needs to find someone more suitable, etc...

Instead, we get the answer to the opinion of Mikasa having feelings for him.

"What are you even talking about? I've got four more years to live, at most." Then goes on to say, he wants his friends to be happy.

Now, the farmer. Lol, come on yall. Historia... HISTORIA, who is pretty badass in her own right, slept with a farmer that used to bully her? Threw rocks at her and MOCKED her? Ummm. No. And so what if he's in the room? He might feel guilty for what he did to her in the past and

is now covering up for it. He might have been threatened. So many possibilities regarding that. But I don't believe that HISTORIA, who punched LEVI slept with a random farmer who picked on her. That is sooooo degrading to her as a character.
