These will be my last posts on twitter for a little while. I have managed to find time in a beautiful place with my family for a few days.
In finding time to reflect on 2020, my thoughts turn to those who have died, & who have suffered in so many ways. #COVID19Vic #COVID19Aus 1/4
I also want to acknowledge those who have shone in the midst of hardship, as leaders or carers. They have met fear, anger & pain with service & generosity. For them, that knowledge alone will be reward enough. #COVID19Vic #COVID19Aus 2/4
For me, the greatest lesson has been in recognising my own limitations. In expertise, energy & temperament. I thank my colleagues, neighbours, friends & family for cheerfully & patiently walking the journey with me. Their example inspires me. #COVID19Vic #COVID19Aus 3/4
Lastly, I approach Christmas and 2021 with a sense of hope, and faith that we will emerge from this ordeal with a stronger sense of community, and a greater recognition of the the things that really matter. #COVID19Vic #COVID19Aus 4/4
