Absolutely vital at this point to run the ~100 or more cases per year (plus backlog) into the court system ASAP even if it means flooding the court system.

Don't leave it in the hands of GIDS who are just stepping back from their duty of care. https://twitter.com/ButNotTheCity/status/1341202693625434112
Meanwhile internet trans activists are busy fundraising straight into the pockets of a fucking offshore prescription service.
This might make sense if it was funding legal defence for doctors prescribing in the UK on a case based around best interests but that's not where the cash is going.
INB4 "But this is the only option we have"

No, the options we have are the ones we build. Throwing money at offshore prescription businesses just further cements the status quo where we're collectively required to throw money at offshore prescription cos and at risk for it.
Yes I am suggesting that people might actually have to imagine how things could be different and start mapping out the steps it would take to get there and then spend effort on implementing those steps.
In fact throwing money at offshore companies when the risks for parents supporting kids through dubiously legal healthcare are so high, is completely side stepping the fight that needs to be happening up front.
3 families with trans kids have been split up by the courts in the last year over parental support for legally (back then) recommended trans youth healthcare in custody battles. We need to be fighting this shit at the point where young people need it.
Trans Twitter needs to stop acting like marks and start working on strategic efforts to change things for trans people if they're going to be playing around gathering sums of money in the tens of thousands.
You've got the social capital to pull all that cash and you're going to hand it to cis doctors running a sketchy online GIC.
Mark behaviour is bad enough, but when you are rinsing an impoverished community with it infecting them with your mark ideology it's worse.
1) I know it's affecting people beyond the UK, I've been talking with people globally who have mentioned this, it's already apparently being cited in ADF lawsuits around the world.
2) I don't think I could be any clearer about fight for rights not lining the pockets of businesses
It's a flexible demand/obligation, one which will evolve over time:

Spend your energy, time and money where you've got any of the above on things which will force multiply young trans people's abilities to get their needs met, rather than subsidising ppl with supportive parents.
The cash that's being raised and redistributed to help people get by right now is being raised and redistributed in the context of a massive impending threat to healthcare for every single trans child in this jurisdiction and secondarily affected jurisdictions.
The urgent wider social challenge is not whether people can afford healthcare, at this rate there will be no healthcare available to buy at all, or it will start to come with unacceptable risks like children losing both healthcare and parental support.
