It really shouldn't be surprising that Kyle is my favorite Lantern when one of the first things he ever did in one of the first comics I ever read with him is make a robot T-Rex

I know this era is a big source of the BatGod flavor of Batman (mostly later with Tower of Babel) but I love that Morrison takes the extra step to have Bruce do the rad LOOK HOW COOL HE IS HE CAN OUTSMART THEM ALL but then cut it with the very human reaction of surprise it worked

The big HAVE THEIR COMIC LOGO ON EACH INTRO move is such a great way to add some extra juice to the whole "these are the biggest heroes in the world, all in one book" energy this has, and I don't think any book has done it better
Grant Morrison understands how god damn cool The Flash is better than any other writer, full stop. I love plenty of other writers' takes on Wally over the years, but none of them can land a moment that sells why The Flash rules in 4 pages like Morrison.
They just have such a perfect mercurial grasp of both super science mumbo-jumbo and fantastical comic book madness narration and blends the two together to make super-speed magic.
