I've been piecing together Saturday's events, but it's pretty one-sided. The comptroller said no thank you to a few questions but Antifa demonstrators would talk.
The big question was about Mychajliw's gun -- me & @AshleyroweWKBW went digging for answers. https://www.wkbw.com/news/local-news/saturday-in-niagara-square-what-led-to-the-violence-between-groups

The big thing here is -- not a doggone person knew he had a gun until he released a statement *after the fact* announcing it. Not police, not counter-protesters. No one.
But, the City Ordinance says no guns on city property, right? Well... not applicable.

Police source broke it down for me:
1. Pistol permits, which Mychajliw claims has, trump the city ordinance. We have to FOIL the permit office to confirm he does have a permit.
2. Even if he didn't have a permit, police have no probable cause. They didn't see or know about a gun.

BPD spokesperson said no charges will be filed and no one from the department has spoken to Mychajliw about the gun -- likely cause of reasons above. Case closed.
