Sankara made an outstanding speech without reading from any script. He accused the West of economic double standards which drenched African countries in debt crisis and resulted in Africa's economic deterioration.
Thomas Sankara predicted his assassination and he was indeed killed 3 months after his prediction. He also encouraged Africans to stop buying weapons to kill one another, and concentrate on development instead.
"Stop importing what we can produce, there's no single thread on me from Europe or America." - Sankara.
