However, these petitions informed the public of their plight and brought women together to air grievances. It was in these meetings that workingwomen achieved greater awareness and were introduced to the idea of organizing. Today, your coworkers are probably not ready to unionize
But, they might become open to the idea if your boss ignores your petitions and refuses to acknowledge your worker's committee. It will take a lot time to warm your coworkers up to just a petition, but if you do, you will have a foundation on which you can build a movement. 3/3
