A few important insights from the roundtable of Palestinian thinkers talking about the conditions for a paradigm shift, up at @JewishCurrents today.

@fadiquran with an important point about the way the power follows the ability to set the discourse
. @danaelkurd on how the Abraham Accords can present an alternate opportunity: a way to unify pro-democracy movements in the region. Pro-Palestine movements have acted in this way before during the Arab Spring.
. @Barahmeh on the necessity of rebuilding the the Palestinian political system and moving away from one-party rule in the West Bank and Gaza, making room for greater agency on the part of the Palestinian people.
. @InesAbdelrazek on redefining fault lines to build coalitions. We should not ignore the importance of building solidarity around economic lines, across Israeli and Palestinian society.
It behooves Jews in Israel and the US to listen to the vision being proposed here, for a region governed and organized according to shared values of justice and equality.

Making room for experimentation & greater Palestinian agency will be key to bringing this vision to life.
