2/ I travelled to DC on 12.12.2020 for the “Jericho March” ( https://jerichomarch.org/ ) & was curious about the history of “Jericho” so I began to dig around… and wow I think you, too, will find that this is quite the rabbit hole .. perhaps even a bit prophetic if you will...!

3/ The Book of Joshua is the story of how Israel conquered Canaan.
--> The Battle of Jericho was the 1st Battle fought by the Israelites in the course of their conquest of Canaan.
--> Jericho was a city of false gods and corruption

4/ According to the Book of Joshua Chapter 6, the walls of Jericho fell after the Israelites marched around the city walls once a day for six days & on the 7th day, march around the city 7 times, with the priests blowing the TRUMPETS.

5/ I thought this was interesting... the song "Joshua Fit the Battle of Jericho" is believed to have been composed by Slaves & has been 'covered' by many of the greats including Elvis Presley! Lyrics allude to the Battle of Jericho when Joshua led the Israelites against Canaan.

7/ Book of Joshua tells of the campaigns of the Israelites in central, southern & northern Canaan, the destruction of their enemies, and the division of the land among the **12** Tribes. God commissions Joshua to take possession of the Promised Land.

8/ The Israelites cross the Jordan River through a miraculous intervention of God and the Ark of the Covenant
--> Not unlike George Washington Crossing the Delaware River on Durham Boats...

9/ Chapter 12 lists the vanquished KINGS on both sides of the Jordan River: the 2 kings who ruled east of the Jordan who were defeated under Moses' leadership (Josh 12:1-6; Numbers 21), and the 31 kings on west of Jordan who were defeated under Joshua's leadership (Josh 12:7–24)

10/ Maybe this is just me, but I think it is interesting that the "Division of the Land" is in Chapters 13-22... subtract 1 from each & we have: 12-21 (like 12.21 December 21 perhaps?!)
--> another possible 12.21 reference: "2 kings...defeated under Moses" (Josh 12; Numbers 21)

11/ The Book of Numbers... the story of Israel's journey from Mount Sinai to the plains of ***MOAB*** on the border of Canaan
--> It is in Chapter *21* of the Book of Numbers in which the Journey to MOAB is undertaken
