As the music directory grows in popularity & ppl discover music streams for the first time, here’s a thread of etiquette (common sense) to consider:
- investigate the request system instead of demanding a song
- “you’re so much better than [other musician]” is not a compliment

- commenting on what you would change about the sound is irrelevant & unhelpful, it is not your stream
- please respect the artist’s interpretation of your song request; don’t ask to change styles or instruments unless the artist offers a choice.

- “finally, a pretty face with some talent!” is not the hot take you think it is.
- calling a musician (or any streamer) by a pet name is objectifying and uncomfortable. Others may feel differently, but I would recommend avoiding it.

and finally,
- the best part about a live stream is, if you don’t like the music, you don’t have to stay
Thank you for respecting & supporting the creatives working hard to bring you music on Twitch
