Starting your platform about public safety by talking about experience working with police and what police officers want not the opposition to Coghill I was hoping to see.
Shifting a lot of responsibilities away from police to "social workers, mental health specialists, EMTs, and more" is good but what everyone who supported this Pittsburgh budget said they support doing.
Being "determined to invest in all aspects of public safety" includes being determined to invest in police.
