i feel like we haven’t acknowledged how hard this time has been for FRIENDSHIPS.
understanding that your friends are responding to new circumstances and news information they have never encountered before in totally news ways, knowing that you are too, having grace but also tolerance and CHOOSING TO LOVE YOUR FRIENDS!!!!!
i have friends that really isolated themselves in ways that hurt me and worried me. i had to find new ways to communicate AND still understand shit is WEIRD, and not personal. i also have friends i grew strong with. i love all my friends 🥺
i am not talking about acquaintances. i am talking about friends. people i have chosen to love.
