Took the train to Ibadan and for what it's worth, N2,500, I was really impressed with it.

It's good to have the option.

It was clean, comfortable, and well air conditioned (maybe too well cause it was almost freezing at a point)
There were charging points and it left exactly when it was scheduled to.

Obviously, there are some minor things that could be improved on but it really makes you wonder why it took so long.

Oh and anyone thinking about taking the train from or to Lagos/Ibadan. Go with snacks ooh.

The Lagos Train Station is at Alagomeji Bus Stop, Yaba.
There's a stop at Abeokuta Train Station.
The final stop is at Ibadan Train Station, Moniya.

It's a 2hr 30mins journey give or take

The train moves once a day. 4pm - 6:30pm from Lagos-Ibadan
8am-10:30am from Ibadan-Lagos

There's no other route or working station that I know of.
You can't book online, or ahead of time as far as I know.
The AC is great. Can be overwhelming but you can ask for it to be reduced.
There's provision for luggages.
