Republicans will go on television and lie and say their Democrat colleagues molest puppies.

Too many Democrats, Pelosi included, go on television and not only FAIL to lay out clearly why the Republicans are to blame, but will also SCOLD voters for being upset.

"I'm upset with you, you SHOULD be upset" is the message that resonates with voters. It's how Trump became the Republican GodKing, for crying out loud.

But Dem leadership won't say it. It's like they're too married to the political norm of being friends with their opponents.

If we're going to have any hope in the future, we've GOT to elect fighters who will get in front of cameras and call Mitch and his ilk evil. E-V-I-L.

None of this "well, I respect my blah blah and we came to a blah blah" from Dems while Republicans are pushing Q*n*n slanders.

Democrats CANNOT BE FRIENDS with Republicans from here on out. Not at any level of government. You cannot be "friends" with a group who is actively undermining you, calling your election illegitimate, stoking terrorism against you, and stabbing you in the back.

Get Dems in front of a microphone to say how shitty this deal is, and don't brightside us with how we all oughta be grateful for what we get. Smug scolding doesn't resonate with voters.

Pelosi is shooting herself in the foot (as always) by defending a bad bill that she ought to be castigating. And, yes, the media is very much also to blame here. But knowing that the media won't inform voters, Dems MUST step up and do the education themselves.

"Here's what we got, it's not enough, we're angry as fuck, YOU should be angry with us" is a message that will resonate better than "actually this is fine and you're wrong if you think otherwise".
