[40th Thread: How to deal with Islamophobes on SM - an Islamic perspective]

The purpose of this thread is to understand on how to deal with different ppl who come across as Islamophobes on SM. Of course, each person may know the best course but we often lose our ethics of 1/

dialogue in the fist of an argument, turn vulgar, waste a lot of time & even we let our ego take over us.
SM do the power to manipulate us, distort our thought process & behavior which affect us both personally & socially in real life.

So while we may enjoy destroying

Islamophobes, we never think of how it subconsciously manipulate us.
The best way to deal with them is to ignore as most of them are attention seekers; or to do something practical.

As I've observed SM conversations often end up in profanities, abuse & more malice.
So how?

For this, I broadly divide the Islamophobes into 3 categories.

1. Enemy 2. Misguided
3. Ignorant

ENEMY
This refers to those ppl who wants us to kill, harm, favor our genocide, mock & disdain Islam with vile/hateful tweets/posts & spreading bigotry

Quite surprisingly, Islam commands us to respond with our enemies in just & kind manner as elucidated in 4:135 or 5:8.

But on SM, the best reply is to report & block. Though very often, it won't be a good strategy. Ignoring a disease leads to more harm & even death especially 5/

For such bigots who rejoice our suffering & oppression.
The Qur'an tells us to be :--
أشدّاء على الكفّار...
Severe/hard/stern/forceful against the Kuffār.
I wont elaborate on the word كفار as I've already wrote a thread on it.

For SM, أشداء simply means aggressive but

Here agressive means to talk with contempt, harsh, supercilious,disdain without being abusive & swearing.

MISGUIDED
This refers to those ppl who may not be enemies but criticize or bash Islam or an aspect of it without proper knowledge,based on propaganda sites 7/

The right way to deal is to refute their argument with logic or fact without disdain.
Else apply this Qur'anic verse,

Unnecessary argumentation with them is pointless if they don't realize that they're acting as ultracrepidarian.
Sure, if you can have a discussion

with decorum, respect then continue else it's wastage of time & degrading of one's character.
Also consider 60:7

IGNORANT
This refers to ppl who Muslims perceive as Islamophobes based on their nuanced opinions or affiliation to a specific political ideology,

Or a particular tweet.
Ppl have different perceptions, distinct understandings, unique approach to realities; it doesn't mean we judge & label them without comprehending their stance(s).

This group even includes Muslims with differing opinions contrary to mainstream or

Opposing political takes.

The best way to deal with them is what Qur'an mentions,

Lastly, we also need to understand the difference between Islamophobia & anti-Muslim bigotry & shouldnt loosely used Islamophobia in every instance as its aim may vanish due to it...
