This Republican legislator came out to speak to the crowd and just called the police officers on duty “treasonous.”

Things I saw on the livestream. The chair of my county's Republican Party wearing her Women for Trump hat and a Trump 2020 flag draped like a superhero cape over her back. On FB she has expressed support for Lin Wood's Q-inspired talk of martial law to overturn the election.

I also heard one man screaming at the police behind a locked door saying "WE ARE PEACEFUL" [3 seconds pass to reconsider] "WE WANT TO BE PEACEFUL!"

The police declared an unlawful assembly. So the right wingers started singing loudly in a small room during an airborne pandemic.

They are now chanting “enemies of the state” at the police guarding the Capitol.

There are numerous armed people in the crowd. They are trying to get into the building to shut down a lawfully called legislative session.

Just overheard right wingers asking the police if they are Antifa. Also heard them ask police if they work for the people or Chinese communists. Very rational political arguments being offered here.

One of the leaders of this protest against the state government of Oregon is J0ey Gibs0n, who is a resident of...wait for it..Vancouver, Washington.

The argument the right wingers are making is that God is on their side and the police are breaking the oath they took before God and they will be judged by him.

I have worked across the street from the Capitol for 20 years. I’ve witnessed scores of protests by a wide range of groups. I’ve never seen a protest this violent and confrontational. Not even close.

On the livestream someone just asked the assembled crowd “who’s a veteran here today? Raise your hand.” Two people raised their hands.

This speaker just called the pandemic "a hoax" and said that they used to call people like Alex Jones a "conspiracy theorist" but now we've learned (supposedly) that Jones was right all along.
