Why water isn’t wet. A thread. (Composed by FredSZN_) Fred.
A body of water is a liquid. The particles fill up the space in which it is contained in. To be wet means it is blanketed with a liquid substance. Water as a singular does not blanket any substance. If you add another liquid substance onto the water then it will be wet. Pt1.Fred
Pt2. Since water as a singular is not blanketed by another liquid substance it is not wet. Take a stone surface for example, without the liquid it is a solid. If you add water onto it, it is wet. This proves water is not wet as it is one layer. Not two. Fred
