As a former canvass manager and sales/trading floor guy, a LOT - not all - of what women in business see as "sexism" is in fact them being treated as badly as men treat each other. Demands like "non-profane praise for my work" sound reasonable, but don't sum up what GUYS receive.
(2) The excessive gentility with which shouty Sales Directors and Department heads treat affirmative action admissions ("Perhaps the sky IS red!") is a significant insult. It implies: "You aren't good enough to be here, and will be treated as mascot instead of brother/sister."
(3) Obviously - before 50 feminists friend argue w me all day- if your boss constantly talks about your body or demands sex in exchange for promotion, sue 'im. But, being shouted at, talked over, cursed at and certainly "brutally teased" is simply not gender-specific.
(4) Men also seem empirically less likely to report incidents OF sex harassment. In a nightclub, a woman once walked up to me, put her finger in her vagina, rubbed it on my lips, kissed me, and said "We're gonna play later." My female friends tend to see this as a felony.
