There needs to be incentive in Destiny right now. What happened to the D1 algorithm?

- PvP based loo. Low Chance for High Stat rolled armor that drops that would be geared more towards a pvp scenario? High recov and intellect for example. Weapons? Eyasluna was a great chase.
- strike based loot to chase. High Stat roles in relevancy to pve activities. Grasp of malok?
- trials? Why are adept mods tied to adept weapons? It would be so cool to throw on an adept mod onto a sniper to see the impact on the weapon. Again, high Stat rolls geared towards pvp.
I feel these two simple changes would create incentive. Obviously there are other details but this is a good starting point (would it be starting if they already had a grasp on this idea but abandoned it?)
Other topics include higher chance for high Stat, in relevancy to the Playlist, rolled armor to drop depending on Playlist difficulty. Higher chance for a pvp masterwork, range mw for example for handcannons, to drop. E
Exotic chase? Take a page out of legendary lost sectors, something done right imo, and create an exotic specific to pvp comp Playlist that you can get just by simply playing the competitive Playlist? Incentives. Creates opportunity for unique weapons without breaking the game.
Just simply tossing ideas out of my head on to paper. Would of thoughts on this.
