Just caught up with @WW2TV turning the tables on @WW2girl1944 and @churchill_alex for this great @hack_history chat.

I first met the Boss Ladies when I think I gatecrashed @CVHISTORYFEST last year to promote @project_typhoon as part of #DDay75. We met up in the green room, hit it off and Alex asked me to join her in heckling Alina before she threw sweets at people. Que terrible pictures: /2
Side note: It was also at CVHF that I met @WW2TV for the first time and we ganged up to chat all things airpower over Normandy. I've totally stolen and reused Woody 'muscle memory' line many times and passed it off as my own! /3
Side note 2: It was also when I finally met @BeaverWestminst in person after numerous emails. It was an utter pleasure and always is whenever we meet up. Here he is with the indomitable Colin Bell, Richard Llewellyn and Joe Cattini. /4
Back to the Boss Ladies. We stayed in touch over Twitter, as you do, and when all this 2020 business kicked off they launched History Hack. I selfishly thought it a great opportunity to talk about all things Typhoon because what else is there to chat about, right? /5
Apparently, 178 other far more fascinating subjects before they got round to the Mighty Tiffy! And what ground they covered, from prostitution in Ancient Rome to Gary Powers' son to an incredible Black History week of episodes, it is an impressive haul of history. /6
Of course, when they got to me and I smashed it.

My time on the project team for the Hawker Typhoon RB396 project came to an end in the summer, it was time to move on. Down the Pub and Woody's NAAFI Natters invites came in and later to Alex and Alina asking me to join the team with #HedgeHopping. I said yes in a moment. /9

We have more exciting things planned and while I do think there is far too much @mcribbHistory and @ZwhiteHistory on the pod, I think they've too embedded to do anything about now.
