ok, i want to start a serious discussion within the nsfw community about the worst case scenario
for the moment, let's assume like fosta/sesta, SISEA passes.
a lot of us RELY on making nsfw content to get by. just changing careers mid-pandemic is not an option for most

so the question becomes: what do we do to change our business structure post-SISEA in order to stay above water
from the sounds of things, social media would no longer be an option as a host for hardcore work, and even sites like NG, FA etc may cull it too

so we can no longer host nsfw content on 99% of the internet.
I think that would mean that a lot of us would have to pivot to softcore, at least when it comes to our public facing services
what i wonder is, how viable would running NSFW content BEHIND a softcore front work

would westill be able to set up fan discords and operate with our fanbase and clientele there?
if not, will we have to set up literal, physical mailing lists with our clients and fans? is that something people would even go for in a porn-less internet?

i dont have answers here, im legit just bringing up things ive been thinking about and considering.
but this is a discussion we as a community need to have. this wont be as simple as going to a new website post-tumblr.
we need to have a plan.
