Does art impact reality? Yes.
Does fiction have a role in how people shape their worldview? Yes.
Is this a 1:1 correlation and erasing the existence of "bad art" will solve anything? No.
And here I go, once more, as an Anthropologist, to discuss censorship and morality.

First and foremost we need to always have something in mind and this is: Power. Who has it in the social context we are observing? What dynamics are at play? How does the society in question works?
Critical thinking is crucial to START this conversation.

So let's just say it here in the broad daylight: something made by a multibillion-dollar company from the Global North (as the US) can NOT be held to the same scrutiny than things created by amateurs and independent artists (such as fans)
