When I took my first CS course- I knew nothing about programming. (Even tho I knew HTML). It was a black box of mystery to me.

I was in a class with guys that built their own water cooled computers, fixed computers and virus removal on the side, and then there was me.
I had a MacBook. Everyone else had upgraded PCs. One of the first labs someone asked where the Cd drive was in the Mac monitors and got verbally assaulted by the lab attendant.
That could have easily been me. I didn’t fit in. I didn’t belong.
But, I was having fun building basic programs and making things. I made a few friends that helped me fill in the gaps I was missing... and about half way through the semester, my prof pulled me aside and said I should heavily consider pursuing a Cs degree. That I had a knack for
It, a top performer in the class.

All it took was one person believing in me, to help me realize I could do this. I changed my major for the 7th time, lol, and never looked back.

So If you’re reading this, and not sure where you fit in- I believe in you. And you can do this.
