There are perfectly legitimate criticisms of left-wing media like The Canary and Skwawkbox, just as there are legitimate criticisms of The Guardian, the Independent, Vashti, and any other medium. And there are legitimate criticisms of Jeremy Corbyn just as there are legitimate...
criticisms of Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner, and anybody else.

But the fact is they serve an important purpose which no other medium serves, and that is amplifying the voices of Jews who are otherwise poorly served by the mainstream media.
For instance, the Canary publishes the likes of Nancy Mendoza and Emily Apple, and had an interview with a dissident staff member of the Jewish News. Skwawkbox was the medium Shraga Stern used to publicize his campaign against the self-styled spokespeople of British Jews.
Incidentally, the Rabbi-in-training in the 2nd article is one of those who cannot recognize the Jewishness of Jews who disagree with him. He has of course blocked me as well.

Even though most Jews recognize the existence and even validity of other approaches to Jewishness itself
suddenly when it comes to opposing Zionism or even supporting Bernie Sanders, the most tolerant of Rabbis will question the Jewish commitment of irreligious Jews, having told us for years not to treat irreligious Jews differently to any religious Jew.
One approach is to brown-nose, when left-wing Jews will try and ingratiate themselves with the performative left-wing Jews of JLM or with other establishment support, which just makes me contemptuous of them. By acknowledging the legitimacy of the self-styled left Jews
they throw their lot in with them and against the Jews even these "left Jews" agree with the media are kapos and asajews.

But for Jews like me, there is a choice, whether to throw our lot in with media and people we must be critical of on occasion, or with the people...
who deny our legitimacy and would like to do away with us altogether.

And I know that as far as I am concerned, Jeremy Corbyn, the Canary and Skwawkbox will always speak for me more than the JC, Jewish News, and the "Jewish left" who will throw us under the bus at any moment.
