Send me Amazon dot com opinions
>Buying xmas presents is hard and Amazon is easy
I often feel like I shouldn't be using prime but can't really explain why they're worse than any other multi-national corporation

>Points I think about:
Not paying tax & poor working practices (many biz do both, bad but more systemic/regulatory failings?)
Monopoly that destroys independent retailers (bad but growth only because of consumer value, govt can intervene, also offers new opportunities?)

Not out to defend Amazon but a lot of negative sentiment strikes me a symptom of wider inequality and misses the point.
I want:
- a well thought-out reason to boycott them
- or reasonable peace of mind so I can think about other real actionable progress
