I don't know how much longer some of moots think I'm gonna keep rting their work if they never reciprocate
gonna make a thread about the importance of mutual support soon because some people seriously need to hear it. And this isn't just or really about me, it's general.
I really do my best to, even if it takes me a while to get around to actually catching up with threads, I will always retweet when I see it. What particular bothers me is people ignoring the work of small accounts, because they need those retweets the most but are often ignored
I retweet a LOT and I lose followers for it but I would rather the person I'm retweeting the work of gained followers for their hardwork rather than myself retaining a couple of my own followers.
But this becomes an even trickier problem with mutuals and particular FRIENDS. I really thought that meant people were there for each other and supported each other, but I seem to have been mistaken. Again, this is a problem many content creators face, I'm not +
really talking about myself anymore.
Twitter is not a great site for sharing time-consuming work on because it's designed for short/quick thoughts and spreading information, so we kinda have to do all we can to ensure everyone gets the time in the spotlight that they deserve.

I understand that we're all busy, with jobs, studying, problems in our personal lives.
But if you are online, browsing the TL at your leisure, it takes seconds to retweet something, which is a FRACTION of the time it took for the content creator to produce that content.

I'm fully aware that few people like discussing issues like this, but we're adults, and we should be able to talk about it.
My main message here is really to rt the work of smaller accounts, but rting the work of your close friends should already be a given.

And I understand that some people don't want to retweet work depending on the type of content it is (eg NFSW or potentially triggering content) and that's okay! The issues arise when there's perfectly safe work from mutuals and small accounts that you refuse to retweet, +
whether that's because you don't think the content is 'good enough' or not from a 'big enough account' or any other reason. Everyone starts off small, please just remember that you needed/also need that support and that other content creator isn't any different.
