Interesting to note that 23 away pacers have made their debuts in Australia, easily the highest amongst all countries - an indication of how teams get so easily disheveled in Australia/ how they fast track their promising pacers but end up on the wrong side so often.
Baptism by fire for whoever out of Saini/Siraj gets to make their Test debut.
And what a debut it was by Siraj! (5/77 off 36.3 overs)
Best debut performance in AUS (in terms of bowling average) by an opposition pacer in a winning cause in Test history. And the second-best overall after Malinga's 6/92 in 2004. Siraj's E/R of 2.10 also equally impressive.

Got a lot of attention in the IPL when he was picked up and subsequently a lot of flak for his performances. But so glad that he was finally picked and did well in the format most suited for him. That too under tough personal circumstances.
