Friendly reminder especially for young artists to please make a habit out of doing some form of regular exercise if you weren’t already. It’s easier to get into when you’re younger and even though your body is likely not giving you any issues yet, you’ll thank yourself later.
There are few things worse for your body than a completely sedentary lifestyle, especially coupled with stress. Even going on a half hour walk every day will make a big difference. A variety of exercise types would be better (aerobics as well as strength training).
And, while it’s good to stretch your wrists on occasion it’s really not much of a remedy for wrist pain. If you are feeling discomfort in your wrist the best thing you can do is stop and let it rest. Stretching and then trying to work through the pain will still make it worse.
