Bakemonogatari (rewatch)

I was torn between an 8 and a 9 for this season but this rewatch has reinforced just how amazing the arcs/episodes of Bake are as truly some of the best in Monogatari and the medium as a whole. Hitagi Crab, Surugua Monkey, and the Starry Sky EP remain absolute peak fiction to me.

But I'd be lying if I said every arc and every episode was consistently enjoyable to me. Monogatari has always been a rollercoaster of an experience for me, both in emotion and in quality, and this rewatch has reinforced that I don't inherently click with every character dynamic.

Overall I'd rate/rank the arcs:
Hitagi Crab - 9
Surugua Monkey - 9
Tsubasa Cat - 7
Mayoi Snail - 6
Nadeko Snake - N/A because it requires Mono SS content for full consideration.
