He wasn't sad/depressed because ZERO was a bad movie, He was heartbroken because the critics and the audiences rejected the movie before even giving it a chance. Half of the people who were crying about movie being bad didn't even watch it.

ZERO was a decent film and SRK is the ONLY person in bollywood is not scared of taking risks.
