there's been so much lesbiphobia today and no one's talking about it. so i will.

so. if you don't know, mocking the lesbian masterdoc has become a trend on tiktok. there are CISHET MEN reading a document meant for lesbians and laughing at it. and i've seen no one who isn't a lesbian talk about it.

it's lesbiphobic to mock a lesbian's experiences... and that's exactly what that trend is doing.

And nobody cares.

i've been on four accounts all day and i have seen no one but me and a few other lesbians talk about how mad we were at this.

what i have seen? positivity posts for everyone BUT lesbians. not a single one for lesbians. when a major platform has a major trend of being lesbiphobic.

this is fucking backwards.

when i say no one likes lesbians, i mean it. how does this happen EVERY time? someone can tweet "i hate lesbians" and not be a lesbian and have others LAUGHING.

there is so much lesbiphobia. erasure. stereotypes. mocking us. and WE have to educate you.

and no one is talking about that. CHANGE THAT. i can't believe i have to make a thread talking about how a major trend is being lesbiphobic yet again.

everyone made "lesbians really lost" jokes not being a lesbian. because we're not attracted to men.

it wasn't funny. and it was everywhere for weeks. and no one really talked about it until it was over.

and more lesbiphobia is happening again.

i am tired. i am so fucking tired of seeing blatant lesbiphobia EVERYWHERE and i am the only person who seems to care. my identity gets invalidated for people to laugh at it.

there are lesbians that are HURT and no one cares. attempts to educate people on lesbiphobia have flopped or been made about another sexuality. it's getting tiring. we can't even speak anymore because the topic changes immediately.

you only care about us when we're angry. us fighting against ERASURE got turned into a joke.

we made jokes about being lesbians and got called every -phobic. we're constantly jokes but when we talk about it, we're homophobic?

i've never been more disappointed in people who claim to be lesbian allies. THIS is your allyship? you can't even stand up for us? when it's nowhere on twitter but everywhere in my lesbian oomfs' for you page? BLATANT lesbiphobia getting recommended to lesbians?

do better. educate yourself. i don't care if talking about lesbian issues feels uncomfortable. get over it.
