Blasters started in 4-2-3-1 formation and EB in a 4-5-1 formation. EB's tactics was to get blasters on the break and play long balls from deep for Pilkington, Maghoma and Rafique to run. The first goal came from that eventhough there was that offside decision. #YennumYellow

Blasters were playing a highline in defense. With Nishu and Jessel bombing forward. Even Costa was sometimes. With Kone's defeciency it played into EBs hand all through the games. If you are playing this system we need a competent defender than Kone to do so. #YennumYellow 3/17

I think fullbacks bombing forward and Costa stepping out of defense are good tactics if you have personnel to do so. Also building from back with Kone, Nishu as RB and Rohit as right DM is a disaster. Thankfully EB didn't capitalize. #YennumYellow #ISL 4/17

Nishu as RB why it isn't working. We signed Nishu for his offensive outputs not defensive. Now we are not getting both. He is ok defender. He is really good attacking fullback. The problem with him is playing on the right side and his dominant foot. #YennumYellow #ISL 5/17

Eventhough he is considered as two footed.He does favours his right foot. So for to cross the balls in he has to switch from left to right.That time is enough for that opportunity to go or opposition defence to get organized. One game Kibu played him on left and he was good. 6/17
Facundo was again good. I have seen some criticism for him. The problem for him is to create he should have players inside the box. Only Rahul was making the runs and getting inside the box. And he was easily marked out. #YennumYellow #ISL 7/17

Facundo started dropping deeper and deeper. I once saw him helping out nishu in build up play in right side of our defense. People may disagree but him and Vicente are our ball progressers albeit they have to increase the pace of that. #YennumYellow #ISL 8/17

There was one moment when Facundo came out with the ball from defense and looked up to pass to Hooper. Who was playing alongside him. Then he had to pass that to Rahul who was heavily marked. Murray came on in second half and did exactly opposite of what Hooper was doing. 10/17
Rahul was a live wire as usual he played left initially, then switched to right after drinks break. Eventually was playing as a SS at the end of the game. Brilliant from him. Great work rate. We need players like him all over the pitch. #YennumYellow #ISL 11/17

To the credit of Kibu he did make all those changes in the half time break itself. And all of them were good. Murray, Sahal, Jeakson. Murray and Sahal linkup was really good. He would have done the same with Rahul. If Rahul was on full throttle. He run himself to ground. 12/17
Sahal played as a wide 10 when he came on and was really effective. This is the type of game we want to see from Sahal and he needs space to do his things and he certainly go that today. I think this is a position he can flourish. #YennumYellow #ISL 13/17

When Kone went off we did switch to a 3 man back defense. With Putiea playing as a Wingback and wide 10 role. I think this is the formation that suits blasters more. Something to look into. I got stick for saying that earlier. #YennumYellow #ISL 14/17

I also said Jeakson can be a really good CB in a 3 man defense. He certainly played well as a CDM. Then he played good in a 3 man CB formation. He is always threat in set pieces with his height. Jeakson saved us from humiliation. #YennumYellow #ISL 15/17

Going forward Kibu has to be ruthless. Bench the foreigners if they are not pulling their weight. Play with these young Indians. That's what we want anyway. These young Indian players will be playing for this club in future also. Give them the chance.

I failed to mention something Albino was great. But that was pretty evident. By that even Debajit was really good.
