i'm ngl sometimes i wonder if inuyasha was aired today, it makes curious if it would survive lmao. i think it's a wonderful story but i'm positive that a lot of newer fans had the chance to watch it one-go & judge it at the end where everyone's fleshed out w/ plenty of content.
i don't think it's necessarily a bad thing, but as someone watching ynh in real time, a lot of criticisms i see for towa & moroha especially can AND will be solved with time. nonetheless, there's no referenced work whereas every inuyasha ep was adapting 3-6 chapters at a time.
like i'm the type to rewatch obsessively bc i think it's important to watch something from different angles to understand critiques & purely bc i want to know and not miss anything. but it's crazy to me how many of the grievances i see on here are is just impatience lol
again, not a bad thing necessarily, but objectively, the pacing matches the og series (if not a bit faster bc the info overload). so it makes me curious if the og series would survive bc i can't imagine the show's routine wouldn't be repetitive esp if its dragged out weekly.
ngl the aspects i love like inuk*g bickering wouldn't go so well if i watched 1 ep every week, or waiting MONTHS until i have a sesshomaru-centered ep would be torture, or even m*roku's entire character is debatable in the early stages lmao.
