BREAKING FROM THE NEW YORK TIMES: Is there such a thing as a humane foot breaking?
“Listen, I hate being the bad guy” said Tony the enforcer when we met him outside his Atlantic City home. “But my job is breaking peoples feet and the casino has to make money one way or another.”
Some question the notion that feet can be broken humanely. But Tony claims that as a progressive mafia enforcer, he owes it to his victims to provide them with tender words and basic first aid.
"Hey easy easy easy," said Tony as he dragged a screaming man into the alleyway, "you won't feel a thing with this new hammer here. And I can fix you up real good after, how would you like that?"
“Tony has a real heart of gold” said Boss Al. “He even drives them halfway to the hospital after he takes em out back.”
Evictions are acts of violence. Like no mobster can humanely break a foot no sheriff deserves accolades or praise for locking someone out of their home. You should be ashamed @nytimes https://www.nytimes.com/2020/12/18/us/evictions-pandemic.html
