Oh no… "Tangled" was really good. I was warned but I didn't want it to be true. Oh no
Weirdly more Warner Brothers than Disney honestly
How deep does this go. Is "the Princess and the Frog" good. Could that possibly be true
Like I am extremely interested in an animated picture about a restaurateur in New Orleans but "The Princess and the Frog"? Seriously? You made a movie out of "The Princess and the Frog"?
Update: Oh god I am 12 minutes in and my craving for beignets right now is incredible
Okay so I found myself distracted by whether "the princess and the frog"'s grasp of frog sexual dimorphism is realistic. The girl frog is smaller and more feminine looking than the boy frog. So I looked it up.

They… … … actually seem to pass.
I think I'm concluding these are American Bullfrogs. The females should actually be *larger* than the males— *but*, the females take noticeably longer to reach maturity. So if we assume these are juveniles, it… might be realistic for the girl to be smaller.
Per most sources the two most noticeable sexual differences in the American Bullfrog are (1) males have much larger ears and (2) the dewlap is yellow in the male & more cream colored in the female. The movie gave neither frog ears, but… they actually got the dewlaps dead on. Hm.
