Ignoring context, including Trump’s serial lying, does nothing to advance election integrity. Pretending he’s honest or credible turns off anyone who pays attention and cares about credibility. 1/ https://twitter.com/bevharriswrites/status/1340503057734332417
/ I do not entertain propaganda. Credibility matters to me. Once it’s lost, it is very difficult to get it back.
/ Voters need to know who is making a good faith effort to be straight with them and who isn’t. Credibility matters. To ignore that does nothing to advance election integrity imo.
/ Context and accountability matter too. Ignoring the recent past helps hucksters on the right benefit from their own election integrity obstruction. It does nothing to advance justice or integrity.
/ / Here are some excellent & highly experienced people to follow on election security: @kimzetter @fbajak @suehalpernVT @KartikayM @philipbstark @rad_atl @jhalderm @HarriHursti @MarilynRMarks1 @TheBradBlog @JonathanSimon14 @Ionsancho1 @Karen_McKim_ @susanpynchon1 @Emily_Levy
/ I wish Greg Gordon did more election security reporting. This piece was excellent and led to many follow up investigative pieces by local journalists re voting machine vendor ES&S’s corruption. http://www.mcclatchydc.com/latest-news/article213558729.html
/ There are many other accounts that are good sometimes (Mark Niesse in Georgia), but the ones above are the most consistent in recent years that I’ve found.
